Privacy and cookie policy

Under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), this page explains how we process the personal data of people who visit www.villalequerce.it and wedding.villalequerce.it (the “Site”) or who contact us. It covers only this Site, not other websites reached through links.

Data we process and why

Browsing data. The systems that run the Site automatically collect some data that is inherent in the use of Internet protocols (for example IP address, browser type, date and time of the request, pages visited). We use it to keep the Site working and secure and to investigate any computer crime. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data you give us. If you email us, message us on WhatsApp or call us, we process the information you share (name, contact details, date and details of your event or stay, and anything else you tell us) to answer your enquiry, prepare quotes and manage bookings and contracts. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and legal obligations such as tax rules (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Cookies

Technical cookies. The Site uses technical cookies and similar tools (for example session cookies and the record of your cookie choice) that it needs to work. They do not require consent.

Analytics and marketing cookies. wedding.villalequerce.it uses Google Tag Manager, which may load Google Analytics and Google advertising tools; www.villalequerce.it uses the Google Ads tag. These services (Google Ireland Ltd.) measure visits and the performance of our campaigns. These tools are switched on only if you click “Accept” in the banner; if you click “Decline” they are not loaded. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your choice is remembered for 6 months and you can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of each page. Google may process data outside the European Union under the safeguards set out in the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses). The Site also shows Google Maps. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings as well.

Is providing data required?

Apart from browsing data, giving us your data is optional, but without it we cannot answer your enquiry or handle your booking.

How data is handled and who receives it

Data is processed electronically and on paper, with appropriate security measures against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. It may be seen by the controller's authorised staff and, where necessary, by service providers acting as processors (for example hosting, email and our accountant), and by public authorities where the law requires it. We never publish or sell your data.

How long we keep data

Enquiry data is kept as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and no longer than 24 months after the last contact if no booking follows; contract and invoice data is kept for 10 years as required by law. Browsing data is kept only as long as needed for the security of the Site. Google Analytics data is kept according to the tool's settings.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). You can also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before. Please write to info@villalequerce.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
